MFW has had a bit of a redesign….new look for a new season and all that.

We hope you like the look, we’re still tweaking bits and pieces but it’s almost there.

We’d welcome any comments or suggestions for the new design – either via a comment on this post, or via the Contact MFW page.

The Conference are again leading the way with the use of technology in football (like their move to a 2B pencil for the fixture planning). The referee today was using the latest decision assisting technology as provided by Brian Lee.

Here we go with another new version of MFW. MFW had lots of problems with hackers. Then after changing webhost, and changing the platform it ran on, we had a number of problems. So, we’ve decided to change again.

MincheryFarmWeb has been a personal ‘project’ for over nine years now. I started out just wanting to record the building of the new ground, and subsequent demolition of The Manor, but it all kind of escalated from there. Before too long I was running a fully fledged Oxford United fansite that tried to cover all bases. This was taking up increasingly large amounts of time, and with events in my life over the last year or so, being increasingly neglected. So, back to basics. I’ll be doing bits of blog-style comment, adding odd bits of photography, and for now that’s about it. It’s also a good time to be concentrating on just being an Oxford United fan and enjoying the game.
